Who We Are
At The Art Room East we believe in the process of making art. It is through this process that we honor the creative energy inherent in every child. At times we might follow a set pathway to reach an end goal and at other times we are captivated by the joy of experimentation. We may engage with master art to find inspiration and alternately look within.
Our mission is to offer a nurturing studio environment where students feel safe to express feelings and ideas without judgment, gain confidence through exploration, and develop an appreciation for the diverse and vibrant world around them.
The Art Room East is located in Room 101 of The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts and our door is open to all.
